Krafton, the company behind Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has announced the game's comeback in India after being banned in July 2022.

Krafton expressed gratitude to the Indian government for lifting the ban and thanked the Indian gaming community for their support and patience.

Initially, BGMI will be accessible for a three-month period and closely monitored by government officials to ensure compliance with regulations.

 The game will undergo adjustments, including the incorporation of a time limit on daily gameplay hours and changes to the color of blood in the gameplay.

The CEO of Krafton, Inc. India, emphasized the company's commitment to the Indian gaming ecosystem and investing in the Indian gaming industry.

Reports suggest that if BGMI passes the monitoring phase without issues, it may obtain a permanent unbanned status.
